FUEL QUANTITY INDICATING SYSTEM (FQIS) AND BODY TANK CONTROLLER
(BTC) SOFTWARE

MANNARINO provided software development and software testing to a major engine OEM for a Fuel Quantity Indicating System (FQIS) & Body Tank Controller (BTC) for an Aerial Refuelling System.

MANNARINO’s areas of responsibility are outlined below:

Software Development

  • Responsible for the development of the RTCA/DO-178B requirements and source code for 3 Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for the FQIS/BTC system.

Software Testing

  • Responsible for the testing of the functional software packages of the MPC5644A Boot Loader Software Program (BLSP) and the ARINC Interface Software Program (AISP), as well as the entire software development test process, from system specification through to formal test.
